I am very impressed with the way the mentoring is set up. It is structured well and seems to cover all of the concepts I need to know. Dave Driggs has always done his best to answer any of the questions I have had. The only comment I can think of right now is that when I first started, I assumed that we would sell the properties we acquired by using an auction. It would have been nice to know of other options such as using a Realtor from the beginning. It may sound backwards to do it that way, but one should go into real estate knowing the exit strategy. When you are comfortable with how you are going to get rid of properties, it makes it easier to get over the initial anxieties of actually buying a property.

Unfortunately, I have to travel abroad and miss majority of the coaching session. I believe I have only two sessions. I couldn't get much out of it. There is not much feed back
Today I got with customer Service. They will schedule more coaching sessions which I hope will benefit me and I will be able to pickup some properties, here in Texas to start with. Also I am eager to attend the seminar of John Beck, please advise me the time and place in Texas to attend that seminar.
Thanks

Dave Driggs has been a very supportive coach, and is very patient in answering our questions. The webinars have also been extremely helpful in furthering our knowledge. We are looking forward to attending the LV seminar next weekend, and hope to come away thoroughly energized. While we haven't made any purchases yet we are not getting discouraged. Thanks to all of you who coach us.

Scott is an awesome instructor and he knows this business very well. He answered every one of my questions and I could feel he knew what he was talking about. He has inspired me to succeed and to not give up. He is proof that the system works. He gets right to the point, no games, and has a great sense of humor. I admire Scott’s success and I wish him well with his upcoming wedding. Thanks Scott for everything. I will make you proud. Ciao! James R.

We (husband and I) were excited and motivated by our initial set-up specialist, Brandon Judd. Steve and I signed up with Brandon on August 12, 2008. Brandon gave us a lot of encouragement and helped us to visualize our dream of owning and making money with the John Beck Re System. We plan on keeping in touch with him as we succeed at this new venture of ours. 2) Next, Barry Sawyer got in touch with us from the Hot-Line Advisory Service - Student Advisor. He also was very friendly and encouraged us to call the Hot-Line or himself if we had any questions. 3) We next were called by Dashaun Gaines of Strategic Financial Corporation, and we happily signed up for an LLC account with him. He was very helpful as he explained all the different options we had to choose from as we started our new business. We chose which type of account we wanted and filled out the Articles of Organization for our new company. 4) Tonight, September 8, 2008, we had our first session with our coach, Curtis Johnson. He emailed us several links to sites along with 2 attachments of introductory information. Our assignment was to get a book by Larry Loftus, identify a familiar area to invest in, and to read through Curtis's email of useful websites before the next session. This 4th session was very different from the others. We felt it was overly emphasized that we call at least 24 hours in advance if we had to cancel a meeting. I agreed over and over until I felt offended at the suggestion that I might not actually call to cancel. At that time I told Curtis of my value system and that he didn't really have to worry about me not calling to cancel. I wanted to move on to the meat of the session. We waited several weeks for our coach to call us, and we never cancelled during that time. We felt like he was reading a script, because he would ask a question, I would answer it in length, and then there would be a long pause.... He would never give me any feedback from my statements, either in a positive or negative way. Just a long silent pause.... and then he would go to the next question like I never said any thing. It was very weird. Either Curtis is a new coach or we were on just on different pages, but our communication was not in sync at all. After the session was over, I went to his email of web site links and tried to open several, but they would not open without a password. You'd think he would have mentioned that in our coaching session. Fortunately, I am very comfortable with the computer and just copy/pasted the links into my browser. But they were blue links beginning with http:// and were underlined so that they appeared to be actual links. They opened to an initial window which asked for a user name and a password. I did ask Curtis if he wanted to go through any of the email with us, but he wanted us to look at it on our own. I also stated that I did need training and mentoring, because we've never invested in real estate; so that was another opening to say something in response, but then again there was just a pause... I said it twice and just another pause... I don't intent to get anyone in trouble, but on the other hand, I don't think Curtis can motivate me or make me feel special. What is your solution to my problem with my first coaching session? I feel unmotivated now. Thanks.

I am completing my assignment on time. Looking through John Beck’s property vault and other web sites, and so far I found it easy. It looks like a puzzle to me right now. I am still looking for certain pieces to complete the puzzle. No matter what, the money I spent for John Beck's Free & Clear are no value compare to what I have learned. I knew it was worth it after first week. Even if I will not make a penny, it is worth the money for the education I am receiving from the Free & Clear. I will be successful and I will make a lot of money to give me a financial freedom. Every week I do my homework and I know it will pay off. It already did. Thank you very Much John.

Curt is very punctual and covers the material well but as I told him last night; as an experienced manager and a trainer, he needs to do a better job at relating what he is covering to the bigger picture. What's the plan is and how does this relate? Hope this helps.

Thank you for an association that has been both enjoyable and profitable to Diane and me. Through the answers we were able to get from you, and your advise, and through the trial and error of experience, we have been able to prepare a list; prepare ourselves; and go to an auction with all the knowledge that we needed.
We could have learned more quickly, if we had followed the summit book. Our first efforts were 1200 miles away. Our next efforts were 800 miles away. Now we're looking, as the book says, within a day trip.
We are planning to attend 4 or 5 auctions within that radius, in the next 5 weeks. We feel comfortable with our capabilities. Thank you for your efforts on our behalf.
We still have not received the business building session, but I guess they will contact us on that. We have been in business before, so it is not really important to us, but we might pick up necessary information. I understand you don't have anything to do with that.
Thank you again

It would be great if you still had the houses available for the students to get our feet wet.
This are some pretty big hurtles to jump as an inexperienced investor. I would liked a little more insight as to which counties are a good start for the type of investing I want to do.
I like the fact that you stand by your guarantee, it gives me confidence that it does work.
Lastly of the webinars sound like great reinforcements I'm looking forward to being apart to your next one.

Edwin Blackhurst is an excellent coach. We looked forward to his sessions every week to learn how to become successful in this business. He is great at explaining everything and answers any questions we have. His sessions are well written, simple, and easy to follow. We are proud to be part of the John Beck's program. We look forward to going out there and knowing that we'll be successful because of all the knowledge. Thank you so much for giving us that!

The training sessions have come to an end and we are very appreciative of the expertise and encouragement from our coach Edwin Blackhurst. He demonstrated the knowledge of his profession and educated us in an area which we have never been exposed to. We feel that his training will be crucial to our success as we embark on our journey into the world of real estate.

Edwin I still have not received my password to get into the John Beck’s vault. Can you please help me? I have not been able to do much of my assignment from lesson 2 yet. I was locked out of the MSN net work for 4 days but have now gotten it working. Thanks for your help.

For Session 1: At least half of this session was about goal setting, his expectations and the perception others had of him. He asked me what I did for a living and where I lived. He didn't appear to know that Jared had already required me to send in my goals (which I had done). Also, told me to purchase and read ""Profits by Investing in Real Estate Tax Liens"" by Larry Loftis. Told him there was an Upset Sale in my county Sept 8.

Session 2: I missed 10 min of this session because I wasn't finished with my patients from my morning at work. This session was over my lunch. I told him that the Mifflin Co sale was Monday night and I could not find info on the internet. He told me to research in the courthouse but I wasn't even sure what all I needed to research or how to go about this. I did have ""the list."" I also called the courthouse and asked them the 9 questions that he sent via email.

Session 3: I was at home for this call. I made no purchase at the upset sale. Was not prepared and did not understand ""due diligence"" process. I told him I did not understand how to use the Netronline website and asked if he would look at this with me. There was an unanswered question as to if I should pay for access to the Center Co. site. I am sent websites from Curtis weekly but no direct instruction as to how to use them. In my opinion, this isn’t the ""hand-holding"", ""easy to follow directions"" experience I was told it would be.

This is Coach Patti Tew adding this feedback from client that I received from him today.
Hi Patti, sorry I missed your call; however I have noted your message and will look forward to speaking with you on Thursday 10.30am EST. I understand you have only one more session with me, it has been difficult to say the least for me even concentrate on the program given the personal situations of divorce, foreclosure of my home and a possible personal bankruptcy.
I believe the current economic climate coupled with excess real estate inventory - Deeds, Tax Certificates, Land and Houses is not exactly conducive to the program at this time. At this time for me, supplementary work has been on the decline in my industry and I have a meager margin of error as my debts keep growing. I am not sure how to even apply the information I have been exposed to within this economy.
I was speaking with a couple of folks recently whom I met at the John Beck's seminar in Orlando to see how they were doing and they are also in debt and have not recouped their investments into the program as yet either and had some of the same complaints I have. I wish there was a way for the John Beck establishment to communicate with us as investors to help us manage the current market situation and develop counter procedures to help us survive, but there seem to be such a disconnect between us as paid customers so I will not hold my breath at this time.
The work to success ratio right now seem very low however I will still keep my eyes open on the real estate market as I have been before the program for opportunities as the economy morphs into the future for opportunities.
I finally sent out the 10 letters and have not received one to date! and the time I invested with the research was huge, during the day I was making phone calls to counties and departments and at night combing maps and other sites cross referencing and scrounging for scraps of information only to sometimes find out the owner either paid the tax seemingly only days before or the lead was worthless.
Wow, I am not sure my $9,000.00 investment was worthwhile to date as there is no one in the administration who seems to even care as this seems like a day job for them. However I appreciate your insights and advice also as you are a great person I would l9ve to remain in contact with but I understand this has been a ""Fast Money"" program...not for me but for others.
Regards,
Joe Dunn

We went to the Duchesne, Utah auction on May 22, 2008. We purchased two parcels, one piece of 82 acres for $4800.00 approximately 14 miles south of Duchesne and a residential lot for $1,000. We have the 82 acres listed for $19,500 valued at $24,000. The residential lot is listed for $3,000, valued at $3,000.
The listing with our realtor expires in November. We would like to discuss putting these properties on Bid4Assets. Please give us a call at your earliest convenience.

Dear Sirs,
Bruce and I have been exploring sites on the internet- through Pay Pal, John Beck's Property Vault, Seized Real Estate.com, cosl.org, Data Scout Pro.com, State of Ar. Commissioner of State Lands- tonight and it has been so fun. It was very, very tempting to jump on deals. As we viewed some of these sites, I wrote down a few questions to ask Curtis (our coach) next Wednesday during our second session. Before shutting the computer down, Bruce ran off Curtis’s e-mails to us, and he had sent some of the answers already. One was ""Where to go to find maps"" for the sites that we found interesting? This answer was found on page 3 of 4, under Mapping Sites. Another question answered on the same page was under the ""finding value"" paragraph. We are anxious to check out all of the information on the Helpful Sites to Find Properties paragraph, and page 2 of 4 also will be very helpful to our learning experience. We enjoyed our 1'st coaching session with Curtis Johnson -we were very nervous- and look forward to the next one. We did notice there was several seconds of silence between our answers; I guess he was taking notes. We bought the books ""Rich Dad, Poor Dad"", ""Think and Grow Rich"", and have ordered ""Profits by Investing in Real Estate Tax Lien"", which should be in tomorrow. I have completed reading the first one and enjoyed it very much. I relate to Rich Dad's Point of view on money. I want to grow rich and not have to physically work anymore. I really think Bruce and I can make a better, debt-free life for ourselves by focusing on assets and cutting our liabilities. We totally want to be committed to this new opportunity to be able to accomplish this.
Thank you,
Bruce and Norma Self
