I'm going to try to be very simple. I have learned a lot. Well I think that the program is very well put together and that it is put into very simple words that I can understand. The program is striate to the point and tells me how to get the info that I need. I like that it is setup that I can do my work any where I can use my computer. I am so happy with my new business in real estate. That is something I have always wanted to do and now I’m doing it!

Here is my feedback on the coaching program.

I have very much enjoyed the program and it has opened my eyes for new possibilities. The sessions with Taylor have been very good and interesting. 

I have especially enjoyed the topics on the county websites and EBAY. Both these items were very new to me and not necessarily something you would learn on your own.

I was very pleased with Taylor. He was very clear and thorough. Also very supportive and took the time to answer my questions.

Few things have not been very helpful for me. These are not necessarily under the control of the program but wanted to mention them any way.

Starting of a new company through strategic finance has been a bit disruptive. Even though I am happy that I did this, then it would have worked better for me to focus on the lessons with Taylor and then start the company. Instead that whole process took attention away from the sessions with Taylor.

The material that was initially sent to me didn’t support the lessons very well. This was largely fixed through the material Taylor emailed to me after each session. However the format of those emails could be a bit better so that it can be easily printed out.

We missed few meetings due to holidays or other engagements. In retrospective it would have been better to make sure there was a session every week. He would have helped me maintain the focus.

Overall, I am very pleased with my experience so far. Now I’m just eagerly waiting for the seminar with John Beck.

I had a good session today. It was a little disappointing because most of the information given to me this time was tasks that I had discovered on my own. I was looking more for how to sell the property and the best places to find these properties other than auctions. I'm still reading my binder so I am confident that with Edwin's last session and just being patient, I will be successful in this industry in no time. I have bid on several properties so far and not won one. I have however, found several other properties that I have bid on and am quite confident that they will produce some fruits to all of my labor! I enjoy each session; I just wish I could have one everyday! This program makes the future look that much brighter from a financial aspect. Thanks Edwin!

Absolutely informative and interesting. We did not really have any idea at all that type of information and understanding can be achieved through telephone communication. As if it was really impossible for us to understand everything but with the use of the internet and technology, and most importantly the coaching method we can now boost ourselves as to the knowledge we have possessed as far as the real estate system of John Beck. It is our high hope that we will succeed on this endeavor.

All I can say is Taylor was and is an outstanding mentor. Our sessions were on time, Taylor was very clear in explaining anything I did not know or understand. The notes on email are great, because I can read and reread them until I understand the info.
I'm very interested in the program and how Taylor explained everything I would (almost) be willing to pay and take the course again.

Had 1st session with Brad on 7/30/08. He was informative and it seemed to go well. Brad gave us our 1st assignment to create a list of tax deed properties from the ""resources"" he would email to us. We received an email from Brad but he did not include the ""resources"" in his email. We have sent 2 emails and tried to contact him by phone -- as of 8/4/08, we have yet to receive we have not been able to contact him. This is very disappointing, as our assignment is due in 2 days and it puts us another week behind. We were already a week behind because our 1st session was to be with Barry Sawyer and it was cancelled and rescheduled with Brad Gillies the next week

In such a program as this, coaching is super important. I would not have purchased the program with out one-on-one coaching. I have taken other courses that have included coaching and I think the early sessions are way too short. By the time you get the pleasantries out of the way there is very little time to have any real constructive sessions. We were fortunate to have been able to attend a John Beck seminar in Chicago with in the first 4 weeks of signing up. This was very good in that we were able to see how it is supposed to work from beginning to the end, sort of a top-down view of the program rather than a bottom-up view. It was a bit frustrating to only get a small slice of instruction at a time early on. It was like taking a movie and slicing it up into 10 small parts and seeing one part each week. Not an optimal way to learn this kind of material. Like I said, I have taken courses that included personal coaching and those sessions were an hour each. Maybe the early sessions should be a hour each and then the later ones could be shorter because you know a little more what you are doing. Being as green as we were, I don't think we would be as happy with the program had we not attended the seminar right away.

On the coaching specifically, we had three coaches in all. I'll tell you as a customer, I feel ripped off a little because changing coaches is so disruptive to the learning process. I think the customer should get some additional time with the new coach to help them get up to speed again. Each coach was different, I mean like night and day different. We were told that if we didn't like a coach we could always ask for a new one. How do we know one from another? We're so green we don't even know what questions to ask! The first two coaches didn't give us any prepared information as reference material. Our last one sent us all kinds of documents explaining all aspects of this business, lists of resources and best practices, even the parts we should have covered with our previous coach. The coaching should be more standardized with the ability to speed up if the customer picks it up quickly enough. Always assume the customer knows nothing, in most cases that will be the case. We received more information in our last two sessions than we did from all the previous sessions.

I understand that there was a hot line available to me but I was never sure how to use it. If I know what kinds of things I could have used them for I might have.  I just didn't know until the last session that I could have used them to help me figure out sites.

Also i was informed during the original sign up process that there were people who would be interested, for a % of the profit, to front me money for purchases. Later I was told I should do it with my own money. Well all said and good but I already gave you $5, 400.00 of my money that I really couldn't afford and don’t have and more extra money to invest with.

I never quite understood how to get someone else to go to an auction for me, if out of state.

I found that I did not have the time needed to do as good a job on the research as I needed. 5-10 hours was more like less then 5, if that.

I often felt overwhelmed with all the places that needed calling and dudiligence waht was expected.  Then to find out there was nothing in my price range or could find out enough information about a property.

My partner and I feel that we have learned a lot over the past couple of weeks. At first it felt a bit rushed and crammed because there were certain things that we didn't know that we had to do when he first called. We feel that we understand it better and feel more comfortable with it. There is one thing that we didn't really like. When we received the call from Strategic and financial and tax advice, we felt like they were expecting us to be able to have all this money for them to help us but we didn't think that they were calling for that. We had a hard enough time getting the money to start the program. Now we feel like we are at another standstill because of this money issue. We are struggling single mothers. Thank you for your help and advice.

I had my first appointment last week, and received the assignments from Tyler. I started setting up my next several appointments but Tyler works nights, and I need to have my times in the morning. I did setup an appointment for today @ 14:30 Pacific Time. By 14:45 I called and E-mailed Tyler and got back an answer that I am unhappy with. He claims I cancelled but I specifically asked Tyler to keep the appointment, until I can get another coach lined up. I have a lot of money invested with the John Beck team I so far I am making the calls and NOT getting timely responses back. Please have a scheduler call me ASAP!

I was well pleased with the coaching sessions. Pierce was very helpful and informative. I also felt that he was concerned about my success. However I was disappointed to find out that an additional investment of nineteen hundred dollars was needed. From what I'm told this would be crucial for tax purposes. I wish I would have been made aware of this fact at the beginning before my initial investment was made to purchase this product. Pierce advised me that if I were not able to do this right now it was not mandatory. From what I've learned through my coaching sessions and the literature provided, the step by step process must be followed to increase the odds of success. As a consumer I prefer to know the total cost of a purchase so that I can determine if more time is needed to position myself financial to cover the debt owed. As it is, I must wait until I can secure the funds needed to move forward. After just recovering from a divorce I'm not able to just pull money out of the air

I have only done two sessions with matthew so far, and he is doing a pretty good job. The materials that I have received are pretty dissapointing, except for the syllabus that Matthew sent, because it is a little more to the point. The materials I received from the John Beck program are really vague, and not much help for as much as there was in the package. It would have been tremendously more helpful to me if the materials would give a more pointed step by step direction to follow
